Hi all,

I'm looking for a pair of loupes with great declination angle for posture. Can anyone recommend some brands/models?

Also, I've had a look at exam vision, they claim to have a 'prisma lens system' that's meant to help with this. Can anyone confirm if this is legit?

just an fyi, past certain point declination angle starts to strain your eyes at least in my experience. if you are after maintaining a textbook posture at all times, then i suggest looking into microscopes

That is absolutely true! I tried a pair of Surgitel flip-ups and maxed out the declination angle. I found my posture was great, but I did find that eye strain was an issue after wearing them for a while. What declination angle would be a good compromise for ensuring good posture and reduced eyestrain for loupes (I'm no where near ready to even begin looking at microscopes! haha)

Also, have you all had a look at prism loupes e.g. pentax? That looks like a fantastic solution for posture as you are able to keep more or less a neutral head position whilst looking straight ahead.
