Applied to 11 schools this cycle - heard back from 10 / 11 - with Louisville being the exception... No idea what they are doing maybe class is full or they are behind in the process. The last thing I have stats on is the 05-06 so the numbers are probably significantly changed but 1951 applicants for 37 out of state spots, I couldnt see more than 500 of those being in state. Hope that helps, good luck!
There is a fact sheet with all kinds of statistics on http://www.ada.org - but I cannot locate - any one have the .pdf link - would be perfect for answering OPs questions
submitted sept 15th... still says application complete in aadsas. haven't heard. Guessing Im going to get one of those "sorry our class is full" letters in may. 🙂

Actually, there are significantly more out of state applicants to louisville than in state. Last year they told us (granted that this is word of mouth) there were 2900 applicants and only 700 were from in state. Kentucky has 2 dental schools about an hour apart.

I got in on Jan 15th. I was interviewed Monday Jan 12th. They notified me by email and said that my letter was sent out that same day and I had 30 days to notify them of my decision. I'm out of state there. My state residency is Arkansas, which doesn't have a dental school.
