Tested on May 27th - PS:8, VR:10, WS😛, BS:6...ugg.

Re-tested 9/9 and am quite confident I did significantly better.

I have not submitted my app anywhere yet out of fear that I will be blacklisted for the 6 in BS.

My cgpa = 3.7; sgpa = 3.5 and the rest of my app should be very impressive as I am in a Director role at a thriving and growing non profit Healthcare organization in rural appallachia which I have been working with since it's inception 7 years ago.

What do ya'll think? should I wait to submit my app until I can reflect a hopefully higher BS from 9/9 or should I hit submit now with the BS:6 asking them to wait and see my 9/9 scores in October....?

I'm talking purely Osteopathic right now.

Help!

I say submit. Most schools I applied to have a matriculant average of 24 on the mcat and an average gpa lower than yours. Its getting toward the late end of the cycle so get it in as soon as possible.

You can submit, but I hope your 2nd MCAT is better. I'd reject you outright on that 6 in Bio.

😕

Are you on an adcom? Otherwise, it doesn't really matter.

I would retake the MCAT and study using the examkrackers stuff but I think you still have a good shot at a DO school

It's DO school. Your score is fine

the cumulative score is fine but do realize that a 9, 9, 9 is much better than a 11, 11, 5

they don't like any deficient areas that raises a red flag.

6 BS is still rather low for DO schools

you make it sound like DO schools just take whomever, average acceptace for most DO schools are 27 so I would rethink you statement! No a 6 in BS shows a lack of basic concepts. I'm sure you did well the second time around. so go ahead and submit your apps.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was demeaning DO schools. Just wanted the OP to feel better about his/her chances
