Low class rank and GPA, can I still get into a GPR

If I currently sit at a sub 3.0 GPA and have decent extracurriculars is it possible to get into a GPR? Any program directors have any input? NY resident

Yeah it is. You can apply more widely to be certain. Once you get an interview it is more so your personality that will get you a spot. For sure the more competitive programs will look at grades as well but there are always spots available every year it’s just a matter of what city you may end up in.

It’s been a little different this graduating year. Because of COVID, graduation requirements have been reduced so there’s been an increase in postgrad applications. Last year MATCH results were out before the world shut down. It’s not as easy now as it has been in the past.
