Are there any med schools with non-expensive tuition and fees?

Depends on what you mean by non-expensive. Options that I know of:

1. In-state public schools are often the cheapest options.
2. Mayo is cheap (maybe $10,000 for out of state, don't have MSAR with me).
3. Service options pay tuition for you (army, some rural service agreements).
4. Get a scholarship.

Thanks for the info....I'm a resident of Texas, but maybe there could also be some other schools out of Texas with less fees.

really you're out of luck. but because you're in texas, you will have the opportunity to apply to many *cheap state schools.

i say cheap because even state schools are going to cost 15 to 20k in tuition

any out of state or private school will be upwards of 30k.

there are a lot of ways to get money for school, most of them based on service obligations.

At least for TX residents at UT-Houston, everything including tuition, health and malpractice insurance, rec center, etc, is $10,760. Tuition itself is like $9,000, not 15-20k.

TX schools are a great deal for residents.

In-state schools are usually your best bet for cheaper prices. Also, they are usually easier to get into since they give preference to state residents.
