Low DAT scores

I took the DAT twice. Unfortunately, my 1st score is higher than the 2nd (19 vs. 17). I am just wondering if anyone knows which schools that look at higher scores or they all look at the most recent one?

It varies from school to school. Some consider the most recent, others consider the higher of the two, and others will consider both. Check the schools' websites and if you don't find it specifically listed, give them a call.

I remember there's a thread that doctooth sent out a while ago that had the info you're looking for. It was a released paper that had all the schools with the way they accept DAT scores (whether it be the highest scores of the two or the most recent) you might want to try searching for it.

Personally though, I'd retake the DAT and try to get a better score. 17 shouldn't be too tough to beat if you're using the right study materials and give yourself enough time to study diligently. I'd check the DAT section out and see what other recommend. I'd definitely get my hands on DAT Destroyer for sure though. Best of luck to you!
