Hi everyone! It's my third year in summer and I just got my grade result back. My grade has shifted from a 3.4 to 3.2. Currently I have
B in ochem I and II
C+ in genetics
B in biology I and II
A in gen chem I and II
B- in biochemistry I and B+ in biochemistry II
B in physics I and A- in physics II
C in both calculus I and calculus II, and A- in Calculus III
A- in Stats
1 year of research experience
3 doctors that I have shadowed after.

Is there any chance I can still get into medical school? I'm double majoring in Business as well, so in a perfect world if I get all As next year I can get a GPA of 3.42. My estimate Gpa is around 3.34-3.4. What kind of things can I do to boost my chances?

Sorry I realized I have put this in the wrong thread

Get A's to boost your chances. There's no magic formula.

Also I'm assuming you don't have an MCAT, and are your only EC's research and shadowing?

just wanted to put this out there. I'm a 3.2 gpa as well, and I have a pretty high MCAT, but that's still not gonna get me in. I'll be lucky to get at least an interview this upcoming cycle. Main point is work on that gpa because once it's broke it's really really hard to fix it.

Man, you guys are making me second-guess my decision to apply!

don't you have 3.3/40? I mean, you're getting in, lol.

That's a solid lizzy M. Plus, you have a 40, lol
I was under a 3.2 when I graduated. The postbacc credits are all at an Extension, so I'm not sure how much weight those'll get. And I've got an IA.
At some point, it's all a crapshoot, but you've gotta go for it eh?

Was it UCB?? And alcohol related IAs are negligible!

A 3.2 is an uphill battle. Graduating with >3.4 would be a better chance. If you absolutely kill the mcat you could stand a chance.
If I were you I'd be looking at SMPs and DO schools.
I don't mean to burst your bubble, I just want to give you a realistic idea what you're looking at
