Low GPA and O.K DAT...PLEASE HELP!!!!

I took the DAT today:
BIO 21 GC 20 OC 21 RC 19 QR 14 AA 19 TS 21 PA 20 GPA 3.0
I had tuna on the 15 min break and started to feel very bad = 14 on QR 😱
what do you guys think? any chance of getting in this year? I'm nervous so anything will help guys.

other then the QR score, scores look very good. From what I've read, QR isn't too important but some schools have cut offs. I really don't know, when did you submit your apps?

Don't worry too much, your in no way the only person on the forum with a quant score that is low but with otherwise solid scores. The only thing I would worry about is cutoffs. I know that some schools have a cutoff of 15 for scores so you may want to research those and find out if you have to retake. If your app is turned in and everything else is in order, there's really not much more you can do. Just sit back and relax, your done.

supraman: my TS is 21 bc they round up if its higher than 20.5. I looked at your TS and it seems that you would get a 21 as well. I'm not sure if you know that or not. check with AADSDS tho

eldirty: do they look at your TS as if it counts more? my GPA is not as competitive as everyone else's. but I have a LOT of research so I dont know. I just wana get in this year

TS isnt the average of the sciences, rather the # of science questions you got right.
i'm hoping u get some love from school, might give me a chance too b/c i have a crappy gpa but good DAT.

oh ok, I keep thinking TS = Total score for some reason (which is the AA), not Total Science...stupid bio

Hey HuntingPro,

We got similar score. I was also sick to my stomach after the 1st half of the exam. The computer screen and the pattern folding was trippin me out.

It is somewhat late in the cycle but I think you should have a chance at schools without cutoff and those that interview somewhat late into the cycle. Schools do take DAT as a standard that all the students are on somewhat equal grounds versus GPA cause that can vary a lot from school to school.
