Hi i have an Undergrad GPA of 2.9 ( I messed up I know.)
Has anyone else applied to med school with a low GPA and got in?
if so what was the gPA, MCAT score and school you got into.
and also any suggestions on which school I should apply to. I want to do MD and considering applying to Caribbean schools

Not with that GPA you can't. There are several things you have to do to correct this:

1.) Do a postbacc (preferably two years) and ace it.
2.) Take the MCAT and ace it.
2.) Do an SMP and ace it. Apply to med school after you finish.
3.) Get all your ECs out of the way. I won't bother explaining this, you can find out what this means using the search function.

I would say you're 3-5 years away from med school. If the above still doesn't get you into an MD school then you should go DO. Do NOT go to the Caribbean, they have poor match rates; and you would probably fail out at this stage any way. If you get to that point and refuse to go DO, then you wanted the title more than the career, and you don't belong in either an MD or DO school. If any of the above sounds like too much to you, that is totally fine. Practicing medicine is definitely not for everybody.
Here is the part where you think I'm being tough on you -- I can tell by your post that you spent about 5 minutes researching your options before you posted. This, coupled with your poor GPA and general lack of knowledge about this process, shows immaturity and irresponsibility. If you want to be a physician then you need to be an adult; more than the average adult, actually. Please spend about 10 hours on this forum or so. After that, feel free to ask for any advice you'd like. There is a wealth of knowledge to be had on this website.

you don't need a post-bac AND an SMP, but no you're not getting into an MD school now with that GPA. but you knew that already

Unless she can make her GPA competitive (unlikely with 4 years of poor grades), she will need both; for MD schools that is. DO would be the best option for her, if she's willing to consider it.
