Low GPA, DO/SMP/Post-Bac?

My stats are 3.1/34 and I am pretty much putting my hopes on DO for this cycle and doing a SMP in the gap year. D.O. or M.D. I really don't give a ****.

Step 1: Sort yourself out. Everyone is grappling with something, but I think your biggest issue is the lack of confidence in yourself. Be confident you'll get a 4.0. Be confident that you'll get to where you want to go and don't settle.
Step 2: Apply to whichever goes along with your end goal.
I'm actually pretty sure that DO is just as hard or harder to get into than an MD SMP. Get awesome grades this year. Then, apply to DO if you want to go DO and apply postbacc if your grades are below 3.1 and do SMP as your last shot if you really want MD.
