The GPA-MCAT grid for Hispanic applicants shows you have a ~60% chance for a MD acceptance if your cGPA is between 3.0 and 3.19 . If your cGPA was 3.5 with your MCAT of 517 your chances would be ~ 80% to 85% . Since your poor grades were many years ago you should receive several interviews. However, do not put much hope on reach schools since a MCAT of 517 and a sGPA of 3.63 is still a below average applicant for those schools.

It also would be worthwhile to connect with the Non-traditional forum and officers with AMSA, SNMA, and LMSA at the schools where you have greatest interest in attending. You want to be sure that given your longer history that you will have a fair shot given your circumstances.
