Low gpa'ers: Email anonymously?

Don't know why it may or may not matter but anybody else thinking the same, when you email admission's of a medical school, smp, post-bac, or pre-med advisors for advice do you do it anonymously?

I didn't. If you're interested in a program, you might want to start getting to know the admissions people early. But do this in order to find out how to shore up any weaknesses in your application, not to brown nose.
