definitely give up all hope. Ah I'm only kidding. Bust your ***** off and stay with it. The medical field is definitely a very awarding career. Only the persistent survive and the dedicated.

good thread

in the end though, it's the gpa and mcat that will gauge if you're med school material.

Man, you don't need an IQ test to measure g. All you need is a room full of introductory physics students, some basketballs, and a motion detector or two.

Did this post get missed somehow? I thought it was hilarious!

Low IQ or not, a C average in science classes is going to hurt you whether you're a cabbage or not.

If it's a confidence issue, then you'll need to do that whole, "believing in yourself" thing in order to start knocking out A's.

If it's an IQ issue, and you aren't able to get higher than a C in a science course, then you're unlikely to even get an interview at most medical schools, let alone an acceptance. In which case, of course, I would say that the options toward something in the health field not requiring previous coursework GPA reflections might be a good start. For instance, becoming a CNA usually requires one class that, at least in my state, licenses you based only on your grade in that class and the state board exam, not in any previous coursework.
