I did about a year of an MBA (maybe half of the degree). I did it online because I was living overseas, and it just wasn't for me. I was also working and just couldn't make it a priority, partly because of time, and partly because of lack of interest. As a result, my GPA from that is a 3.2 (no C's, just mostly B's) I also took courses at UNC (public health) at the graduate level, and earned the equivalent of A's, but those unfortunately were not calculated into my grad GPA because of UNC's weird grading system, so I am stuck with the 3.2 on AMCAS. I would have about a 3.5 grad GPA were it not for that. My c undergraduate GPA is 3.88. Post-bacc science GPA 3.8.
Anyway, I am applying now but want to think ahead to next application cycle as well. Should I take more grad classes to raise that grad GPA, or should I take more science classes at the undergraduate level? I'd really like to take biochem, micro, genetics, etc. in order to help me on my MCAT in the future. I did just a one year post-bacc and feel pretty weak in bio (got a 9 in bio).
Any advice would be appreciated. I am also working full-time right now, in health care.
