My MCAT is coming up, and I'm starting to get worried about my practice MCAT scores. My VR has been bouncing around between a 4 and a 9. I think I can raise my PS and BS, which are between 8-9 if I study more, but I just don't know what to do about VR. I have a 3.84 gpa, but I'm really worried that my MCAT will just turn out to be too low (possibly b/c of VR). Any thoughts?

Wow, that's quite the bounce. On some versions of the test, you can get a 3-4 by just choosing 'b' for every answer. But 9 is a decent score.

I think you identified that your problem is VR, so I'd focus on VR section tests for now. I think priority one should be to stop that bouncing. Once you lock down a decent 8-9 score there, then you can go back to worrying about PS and BS. But even if you could automatically get great scores on those two, something like 12, 4, 12 is not going to fly. Focus yourself, and concentrate on putting out the fires one at a time.

I will suggest you work on verbal. 7 or better with a good ps and bs score around 11 might help you with application. my last year score was 10Bs 10Ps ad 4Vr. that did not help with the application. I have been working on verbal for almlost a year now. there is improvement but not much. sciences scores are know in 11 and 12. I hope I can get 30. one thing I have noticed is that the day I am looking forword to kill verbal my scores would not be good score. the day I take vr because my schedule says so my score is 9 that is the highest I made. you are not alone man. hope we can work out majic.
