Some people are naturally brilliant and ace the MCAT without breaking stride, just as they ace classes they take. The rest of us have had to work hard to get the desired outcomes.

Other than those brilliant and very accomplished people, most apps are a mix of stronger and weaker factors. Schools are looking for the strongest applicants they can get in a process that is competitive from both perspectives. It sounds like you have some good positives on your record. If your MCAT doesn't come out to be as competitive as you'd like it to be, do a better job of preparing and take it again. Hard work and practice tests will improve your verbal scores.

You don't want to pair your 3.55 with a 33 MCAT to begin with. That GPA is on the low side so you want a very high MCAT to balance it out.

So: practice practice practice. You should be aiming for a 36+ MCAT, preferably with at least a 10 VR score. When you get your MCAT score, then we can discuss the realities of your score. But I hate talking about hypotheticals. Don't set yourself up for failure. Don't take the MCAT until your practice scores reflect the ~36 score you are aiming for. Don't try to justify weaknesses now, just rectify them.
