I have to agree somewhat with this user's comments. Besides, even if you are going to be doing 5 quarter credits in each of those classes, for a total of 15 quarter credits, and you got a 4.0 in them all, your cumulative science GPA would not go up by a lot, unfortunately. This is the sad reality. The GPA is very easy to screw up, but very hard to repair once a good amount of damage has been inflicted -- which often can occur in relatively short amounts of time.We can't tell you anything because we have no clue what your grades are. It is all averages.
Not to be mean, but honestly you are wasting your time and money applying. Optometry is heavily focused in science and having such a low science GPA does not lend much credence to you. You need at least half a point to even have a chance. It is going to be incredibly hard to do such a thing. Besides, this is simple statistics- if you can't figure out simple statistics, it makes me not only question if you have taken statistics (which is a requirement), but it makes me question how you will do well on the QR section of the OATs (and the OATs in general for that matter).
I'm sorry if I come off as mean, cruel, etc. but this is the harsh reality. You don't have a chance of getting in and taking a few classes at a community college will not help your GPA enough.
The class is 4 credits. How many credits is the class you're taking?
