I crashed today!!! I'm so pissed. A combination of cool road surface and some oil left behind by slow moving trucks.

Leaning hard right, and dragging my knee.....followed by dragging my right elbow and shoulder 😱 😱 as I watched my beloved VFR slide away from me.

Just some scratches on the right side of my bike, and minor scuffs on my armor....man Joe Rocket is the BOMB.

I guess it's time for that new bike.

Uhhh, Dude, you're pushing the envelope. Its gonna happen again at the level you are riding. All the pros have wiped out numerous times.

Follow the Star Boyz lead...if you must, keep riding at that level, but keep the same bike. Gain more prowess on a bike you won't be frustrated over when you lay it down.

Your lay-down is inevitable.

More importantly, glad you're OK.

I know the feeling. While at LSU (on Brightside for those of you familiar) I would come home from class and make a right turn and nail it over the RR tracks. I could clean some airtime and scream home before any cop could even see were I went (where'd he go? Where'd who go?). Well the light was turning red and the traffic was coming so I nailed it a little too early and they happened to resurface the jogging track that day (gravel thrown in the street). It all makes for very poor traction. Airtime was there but the landing was less than pretty. Plastic fairings everywhere. JB weld, Dude.

Thanks....I just might keep the VFR a little longer, but still get that new BMW for days when I just want to look cool 🙂

Not sure what it's like to lay a street bike down, but I can say that nothing pissed me off more than rollin my raptor down a cliff. Cost me 2 G's to get her back in shape, and I still have some lumbar osteo goin' on cuz of it. In any event, that sucks dude... but it's good to see that you made it out ok.

Glad you didn't "F" yourself up, man. Its amazing what the right protective equipment can do for you. I don't ride, but if I did, I'd be wearing the right gear.

Hey Mil, why don't you call Michael Jordan to see if he needs another rider for his team?

I don't get it 🙁

maybe he's referring to jason williams (bulls pg) doing a face plant into a tree on his bike. hell, i don't know either.

Didn't you guys see the 60 minutes episode last Sunday? M. Jordan has taken up sportbike racing. He also owns a team. It was a little funny seeing a 6'6" guy on a cafe style bike racing around the course.
