So I was recently looking at my AMCAS from last cycle and I saw an issue that I hadn't seen before.
My overall c/sGPA is decent to apply to medical school (3.68) but my GPA for sophomore year is lower than the rest. Here's the breakdown,
Freshman Year
cGPA: 3.8
sGPA: 3.8
Sophomore Year
cGPA: 3.37
sGPA: 3.29
Junior Year
cGPA: 3.82
sGPA: 3.82
Senior Year (Projected but this won't change much, I know my grades more or less)
cGPA: 3.72
sGPA: 3.71
The reason for this is that all the courses I took in freshman year were classes I'd had before, so I didn't really hit the high school to college adjustment period until my sophomore year, and I had some family stuff going on at the same time.
Is this considered inconsistent? Thanks for any input
