Hey guys. Ill make this short. Step 1 241, and step 2 233 going for anesthesia

1) should I release my step 2 score?
2) how badly will the low step 2 score hurt my application? I'm assuming ill have to shoot for lower level programs.
3) do step scores factor into fellowship opportunities?

I'd appreciate some input, thanks everyone.

I don't think you have a choice to release the scores of one test without the other at this point.

"Abysmal", really? SDN is such a parody of itself sometimes lol.

Anyway, I think the scores are auto-released if you already authorized the release of step 1.

Abysmal prob isn't the right word ha. All I've been hearing is that a decrease from step 1 looks terrible. That's more so what I meant. Thanks for the reply nonetheless wasn't sure how the release worked

I'm more curious how the decrease will hurt my chances. Are lower end residencies my only option? If anyone has had the same type of experience I'd appreciate some feedback. I'm just curious where I stand.

Wow... Ranking can go as far as top 50! Curious to know the difference between #50 vs. #63.

My point is that you will match into a good program.
