fidgeted a little. got interupted with someone knocking on the door during one of the questions but that'd only effect one question.

Some of the core faculty at my program didn’t even know SVI existed. So there’s that.

I really don’t think anyone is using it. Only one that brought it up last year only did so to say that no one knows what to do with it. And they only did it to assuage fears about the stupid thing.

These things are trash, and I hope no one ever takes them seriously in ranking decisions. You take a med student coming right off their AIs, nervous about interview season, and make them monologue at a computer monitor with no human feedback. It's not terribly surprising that even socially normal people could come off as awkward like that.
