My currect stats are 3.2 overall GPA and 3.1 science. I am yet to take the DAT next term. Thank you

I had a 21AA but 20TS w/ 3.25sGPA and have three interviews so far.

I know it doesn't necessarily meet the above criteria, but I'm definitely below average on the GPA and barely on par with DAT.

Congratulations️️Thank you for sharing. Do you mind giving us some advise as far as the school where you interviewed and also what you think made you stand out.

I interviewed at A&M, Tufts and UNE.
I had a lot of ECs, and I mean a lot. Thousands of hours of volunteering and service. I work as an ortho assistant. Hundreds of hours shadowing and working in dental offices. Played for a D1 Ultimate team in college.

I dunno what set me apart enough to make them want to meet me, but I also applied and submitted during the first week of the cycle opening.

Awesome, I wish you great success. Thank you for a little inspiration to continue this dream

No it isn't. It's the average for matriculants though, the average for test takers is still 17-18.

Hey guys please share your success stories of people getting interviews with low 3.0-3.2 GPAs and average 20AA DATs. Thank you

I got a couple buddies who have 3.2's who got interviews, though they don't use sdn. One had a 19 AA, other had a 21 I think.

I have a 3.3 oGPA/3.1 sGPA and a 21 AA/22 TS, but I've only had one interview so far 🙁 Lots of EC's and volunteer hours, work as a dental assistant, summer research participation. I applied to 15 schools and have been rejected by one so far. I'll let you know the outcome Dec 1st.

its not impossible. i've seen people getting in with low DAT and/or GPa.
But I have to say lower GPA is bigger hindrance than DAT it seems like i could be wrong though.
