Hello! Have been lurking here for a while and now I'm hoping to get some feedback on my app.

NY Resident, Financially disadvantaged/first in my family to attend college
UG GPA: 3.13 (science), 3.10 (non-science) - lots of retakes
Grad GPA: 3.39 (at a DO school program - low first semester but almost 4.0 following semester)
MCAT - 1st attempt 24 (8/8/8), 2nd attempt on 8/25 - pending results!
EC's - EMT, paid clinical experience at a hospital, homeless shelter, crisis center, overseas trip
LOR's - from DO school faculty/advisors, and a DO

Any feedback on my school list?

Just curious because I have similar stats, I'm very worried about my GPA's (similar to OP). Would you say that a 3.1 is too low for most places?

With a 3.1, you can rule out the Touros, AZCOM, Western, KCU, PCOM, CCOM, CUSOM and I think BCOM as well.

Makes sense. Does the masters from the DO program help at all with the low UG GPA? Which schools would you recommend?

Right now, the low MCAT is harming you equally. The MS performance is rocky. At my own school, you'd get rejected. Your best luck would be with the DO school where you got the MS.

Thanks! My MCAT is higher than that of OP but I have a similar situation in terms of low GPA/Masters at a DO school (Touro in my case). Hope I still have a chance somewhere
