Can anyone help me out with proper guidance? I am so lost. I took the MCAT last summer and got a score of 22. I retook the test and ended up even worse, with the score of 18.

How ddid you study? What was the breakdown of your scores?

First time I took the princeton prep course. Second time I studied on my own, to be more specific I used Berkeley review for science sections and for verbal section I used EK 101

9 PS, 4 VR, and 5 BS? This looks like you need to enhance your reading skills. Brush up on your biology stuff too. There are alot of threads on these forums about study materials. Look at those

Be bold. Study only from the questions posted in the MCAT Q and A section.

Study harder and retake the exam. Do a ton of pratice problems and i hope you did all e-mcat stuff. What are your pratice scores?

If you don't retake then either go to a forgein school or podiatry.

Sometimes your nerves get the best of you. You should study more bs and work on the vr strategy. You should also take a few timed full-length aamc exams for practice. The later ones are better indicators of the current MCAT. Practice test 3 was kind of a joke if I remembered correctly.

Tell us more about your application and tell us your practice scores.

Honestly your scores are truthfully dismal, not being able to break a 24 after all that studying is an issue. That is if your studying was studying to begin with, I mean were you practicing material or just listening to lectures while streaming the web?

Right, bio these days is mostly reading comp. A good way to study is to read research papers and use your verbal skills on them.
