Yeah I mean you got a 19 on your first MCAT.... good gpa tho

It is an advantage to ALL black people... Oh and alot of other people have worked multiple jobs to pay for school ect. Now you are talking about economic class, which is a whole nother issue. given the same two people, one being African American and another a typical White applicant, the black person Will be accepted. Simply because they are an URM, no other reason. Let alone people who are unequal in stats getting it over kids who have better stats b\c of it. Are there smart black people? yes. Are there smart URM? yes. Why not admit the ones for the reason that they deserve it, not b\c it meets a quota.

kind of like tahj mowery. ABC, being politically correct made him a regular for a few years as Michelle's playmate. Me, uncle jessie (www.wwujd.com), and Joey unanamously disapproved, but in the name of affirmitive action, we were overruled. It turns out he was a bad influence on Mary-Kate (cocaine addiction, annorexia, ect.) Now he has his own show on disney (The smart Guy). It's a shame......

Yea, I did make a 19 on the first MCAT,but why did you neglect to mention that I got it up to a 23 on the second test? 24-25 is around the average for DO schools, so you are fool to say that a 23 MCAT with a 3.92 gpa with a whole page of EC's is overlooked cause I'm black. Meaning, those stats meant nothing to get accepted, only the color of my skin was the deciding factor. Gosh, I hope you really aren't that big of an idiot.

Hey everyone I was curious of those who actually got a low MCAT score and was accepted to a DO school?

I am still waiting on the April Test scores 😕

geez, this thread has turned into a URM bashing one it seems. Oh well, everyone can come up with someone that they "know" who scored a low MCAT and still was accepted. The fact is, acceptance comes down to many different variables that are not limited to MCAT scores. If somone works their asses off for four years, graduates at the top of their class and has enough EC's to choke a horse but, for whatever reason, doesn't score high on the MCATs does this then mean that they should be kept from medical school? I don't think so and, for this reason, I think these threads are pointless. These people who are accepted with quote "subpar" MCAT scores usually have a lot more going for them. Hell, I have a 22Q MCAT, 3.93 GPA, enough EC's to choke a horse and was accepted into five schools.

And finally we have an answer to the OP's question. The answer is 22Q. Can anyone else beat that?

llllllaalala

hahahahaah, omg, I bet it took you all day to think up that? I am sure your verbal score was just SO high. Please, come be my doctor, I like the most intelligent person to treat me. Hey, when you get your head out of your ass, we can go have a beer.

I didnt really mean to insult you. In your previous post it looked like you were making the point that you had a low MCAT but had other good stuff so you got in. So I was trying to make the point that finally someone on the thread told of their experience getting a somewhat lower MCAT and getting in.

I was more trying to mke fun of the whole thread than you personally.
But I apologize, and will edit my comment out.

Oh shush, the fault is mine. Now lets get back to poking fun at the URM bashing thread. I wonder if having Irish in my blood was a deciding factor. I hope I didn't take anyone's seats...

Please SCPOD, whenever you are ready, feel free to post information stating most URM's aren't likely to practice in underserved areas or most non-blacks prefer black doctors. I am open to any criticisms. :luck:

Jt, thank you for the links to the excellent articles. Keep up the good fight!! 👍
