Is Loyola really the worst Neurology program in the midwest?

How would you compare Loyola to UI Chicago? 😕

Thanks~

Isn't Wayne State's Harper Hospital ranked like 30 something for Neurology according to US News? Or is that Neurosurgery? Anyone know anything about the program?

Program directors on my interview trail in the midwest have stated that it is a very weak program. Apparently, there were also problems with Wayne State working out contracts with the hospital and many program directors stated that they did not believe that there would even be a program there as of this year.

I believe all the contracts have been worked out and the program will still exist...but since I heard such negative reviews by multiple neurologists on the interview trail, I decided not to interview there.

Again, this is all hearsay...not personal experience.

Is it true that Wayne State's Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs withdrew from the NRMP last week? Wonder if anyone interviewed there..

UIC is a good program, especially with the new faculty from Rush inthe last few years.
