Can med schools see if you took the LSAT and law schools see if you took the MCAT unless you tell them? I didn't know if that sort of thing was available or would show up if they checked.

On another note, has anyone applied to both med schools and law schools in the same cycle? Is that something you can also get away with? (I'm not really endorsing or considering this, since applying to both might imply that you aren't really "cut out" for medicine, but I'm just curious).

There's a section on AMCAS where you can list "other test scores". If you don't list your LSAT score, I don't think medical schools will know.

And why would you apply to med and law schools at the same time?

I actually had thought about doing that, but decided not to, and didn't take the lsat, though I found out later that they have an md/jd program in the school I got into and would have been interested in doing, but I don't really feel like studying for the lsat in the couple of months of 'freedom' (besides working full-time) that I have left.

Anyway, to answer your question, no, they won't know. E.g., Bobby Jindal applied to both at the same time, got into HMS and Yale Law simultaneously, and ended up doing neither, haha.
