Does anyone know about the status of LSU in New Orleans or any other programs they might have been affected by the hurricanes? Are there any other schools that are definitely not taking applicants for one reason or other?

I know that we have some new medical students from LSU rotating at Georgetown and its affiliates...but I haven't heard much about the residents. I hope they all found alternate placements. It must be difficult to be displaced in the middle of your residency.

I emailed the pm&r coordinator for LSU and got this response

I am not computer savy so I don't know how to PM you but I would like to know whats up with LSU. B4 Katrina LSU was high on my wish list--even now if everything is str8 I would go. But since you are now a UVA there must be some major problems. You can PM me your response. THX
