LSU application question

If there's anyone else around here who applied to LSU--did you combine the two essays into one, or did you keep them separate? It's my last application and it would be much easier for me if I could combine them into one essay, but the application doesn't make it clear if that's ok.

My SOP divides nicely into the two sections as it is, and they seemed to want them divided in the app instructions.
