Got an interview on Dec 14th at LSU. They test chalk carving on a triple sized piece of chalk. I don't know, but I'm assuming this is the huge sized chalk we played with as kids? The LSU predental website has a blueprint of the chalk to be carved. see http://www.lsu.edu/student_organizations/predentalsociety/images/chalk.jpg
Is this all there is to it? Is the Grey area correctly projected? Is the tapering off from the square supposed to match up to the cylinder in a plane (where the white meets the grey)?
Also, on the rounded end, is there any flat surface or is the chalk to be carved continuously to the center?
Insight appreciated from anyone who's taken it or knows someone with more detailed info.
