Any consultant pharmacists out there? What is your typical day like?

Go to home...look over MARs....count controls...make sure all relevant fed & state laws are followed.....check for out dates.

Then, I look over MARs and see what I can D/C, significant interactions, physician orders are followed, etc.

I used to print up a report after going to home grading them on how they did. But now, I do a handwritten copy so I can go over it with the home right then and there.

Not bad once you get all the stuff down.....
