I don't like this topic...it is SO counterintuitive to me...can anyone recommend a godd book / source for this please ? I already have BRS physio and the Costanzo physio review book...thanks !

Try Respiratory Physiology by John West. It is a pretty concise book, but very detailed. There are even practice questions at the end of each chapter. A lot of people don't like it, but it really helped me to score well on any exam I had relating to the respiratory system.
