In my college, they offer macro- and micro- economics during the winter session. The winter session runs for about two weeks with 5 hours of classes Monday thru Friday. I was planning to take either micro- or macro- economics during the winter session.

My current major requires me to take both. Instead of taking excessive credits in the spring, i feel that it would be much easier if I can finish one of the economics classes in the winter.

Does anyone have experience taking such a class during the winter?

What would you advise for me to do? Is it possible to take the class in winter and ace it (if you're not working and that class is your only priority during winter)? If so, would it be easier to take micro or macro?

where do you go to school? i've never heard of 2 week/5hour-a-day classes. Not even quarter system summer school is 2 weeks...and those are 3 hours a day...

you would be studying quite a lot because concepts would be covered too quickly....

Well.....it's from January 2 - January 18

I am going to school in Rutgers.....Newark Campus

Yep, I've heard of them, they are considered mini-sessions at my school and yes they are very intense.

I took both the macro and micro courses in eight week sessions online. For my class it was a lot of reading and we had to do a paper for each class. I suppose if it is the only class you are taking it wouldn't be an issue to take it in a two week session. Like I said for my classes there was just a lot of reading.
