Made a huge mistake on volunteer hours!!

Hello,
I just submitted my amcas yesterday and I accidentally put 800 instead of 200 for clinical volunteering. How do I handle this situation? Will the medical schools be receptive of an email or letter stating it was an honest mistake? Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Send them an update letter or make a note of it on the secondaries once you get them.

I will have completed 200 by matriculation so I don't know how feasible it would be to do 600 more hours. Thanks for the advice! I will contact the schools and make a note on my secondaries.
