Made a mistake on course work on app.

Long time lurker, first time poster.....
I made the stupid mistake of entering the wrong grade in the application a b+ instead of an A; and my transcript was verified and the mistake was not picked up. It was only when my GPA was verified lower than expected that I reviewed my application. What can I do to correct this quickly, call them or email them? ANY ADVICE besides the obvious...........check check and check again before you re-submit.......

Call individual schools and they will probably tell you to write them a letter concerning this so that they can put that in your file when the Admissions Committee reviews your file.

I'd call AADSAS and have them reverify your transcript...but that's just me.

Verification of transcript is just them receiving it and verifying it as being a valid received from a real school (i believe). They will catch the error when they actually check over your app and will change it, but I would still email as others have said.

at least you didnt make the mistake of entering a grade higher than it actually is, which would suggest cheating.

Probably a few weeks, but at least it's better than school's not getting your letter, let alone even caring enough to make the extra effort. You never know I guess.

AADSAS incorrectly changed numerous items on my coursework section, all of which were coincidently NOT in my favor. This include changing a course that I got an A in from 4 credits to 3 credits, changing a one credit lab that I got a B in to SEVEN credits (wtf?), and listing that I dropped a course twice when I only dropped it once. When I called customer service, the women was a HUGE bitch and was telling me she was going to see what she could do and would have to call me back later. Make sure everyone checks their courses one by one to make sure they didn't make additional incorrect modifications!

edit: OP should contact schools and tell them AADSAS incorrectly modified their app. That way it will be no fault of your own and I'm sure they will note the discrepancy in your application.

I emailed AADSAS and they changed the grade and emailed me back. Great customer service!!!!
thanks for the advice, panic is over, just waiting for the application to be sent to colleges.
