i really think I am at the most ass backwards hospital lab on the planet. I’ve been at this one 7 years and seen some odd things.
The current idea floating around admin is to have the docs mail us their clinical samples rather than have a courier pick it up. The range of these clinics geographically varies from 5 to 30 Miles.
I think a majority of the docs will hate it or bounce somewhere else. I can see the staff having a cow over the packaging of a whole days clinic volume for shipment rather than tossing in a courier bin. I can’t seem to even fathom the rejected specimen issue from this.
Anyone else do this at their establishment? I swear junior admins are trying to sink the place.
