Hey, I apologize if this question is just completely idiotic, I searched, and looked at the SOPHAS FAQs, too before asking-- but how are school designations mailed out? Is it automatic, if so, when will they be sent to the schools?

I paid the fees, submitted the official transcripts (It shows they've been received, but the GPA hasn't been calculated yet) I am missing my third letter, too-- my the writer will be unable to write it until after November 17th because he has a conference to prepare for.

Will it be sent to the schools after it is verified and the GPA is calculated?

Thank you! I'm just worried I did something wrong...

It is my understanding that once the gpa is calculated, everything is verified, and 2 letters of recommendation and payment have been received, then your information is mailed to the schools you're applying to.

Thank you so much! I was worried I had made a mistake.

how did you e-submit it without getting all of the 3 LOR in? sophas wont allow me to submit it until all of my lor are in...

From SOPHAS:

A: No. You can e-Submit your SOPHAS application as soon as you are confident that you have filled out all of the online sections completely and accurately. SOPHAS will accept your recommendations regardless of the status of your application, and the receipt of these recommendations does not affect whether you can e-Submit. SOPHAS will not begin to process your application until at least two letters of recommendation have been submitted on your behalf, your application is submitted and paid, and an official transcript has been received from each U.S. institution listed in your Colleges and Universities Attended section.

Yeah, JMM051 is right, I actually submitted with only 1 letter (but I did submit all of my letter writers and their information)

I think that may be another reason why my application had not been processed yet-- I just got my second letter submitted last night.

Thanks guys :]

Has anyone had their apps mailed yet? Just wondering how long it's taking them right now.

I've had my two recs in for almost a dozen hours already!! I'm going crazy! (sarcasm... mostly.)

Yes, I have. I submitted 10/27, it sent them out on 11/8.

I apologize if this has been addressed before, but will e-submitting through SOPHAS before a school's deadline suffice to meet the deadline, even if SOPHAS doesn't mail out the application until after the deadline?

Yeah, I think so. I think they just want to see that you've submitted, but I'm not 100% sure. Also: Bad Brains! Awesome!

It depends on the school. Most want it just submitted by then, but some want it processed/sent by then.

Does it take up to 4 weeks for SOPHAS to confirm that they've received a transcript? I'm confused how that process works. Do I need to e-submit my application before they'll evaluated my transcript?

I'm applying for the MPH program at University of Minnesota that has a deadline of December 1st, and I'm getting nervous that my transcripts aren't going to be processed in time.
