Hey, I have an interview at Maimonides in New York in November (9th). Never been to Brooklyn and was wondering if there was anyone else here who is interviewing there or a nearby program on the same day - can share a hotel room to save money.
I interviewed there last week, and really liked it. There are no hotels around that I was aware of...probably your best bet might be NYC...which is a tad expensive....I am not sure if they put you up the night before...might want to call and check....
They did not mention anything about a hotel there. Where did you stay when you interviewed there? I am trying to reach a friend who is from Brooklyn to see if I can stay with him.

Staying with your friend would be the best bet. I don't know of any hotels in Brooklyn. Most hotels are in Manhattan, which are expensive to say the least. Plus if you plan on driving when you get to NYC, finding a parking spot in Manhattan is challenging, and parking your car in a garage is more expensive than you can imagine.
Yeah...I drove in...and parked in the garage(which I had to pay for parking). The "D" train and I think the "M" line also run there...they sent a sheet with directions...
