Hey guys, I am new to this forum and needed some help. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this question or not so please don't be too judgmental.
I am accepted into .... as a transfer student and now everything is set besides my major. I am really confused. I know that medical school is really competitive and requires a great GPA along with many EC's but what if that doesn't work out, I don't want to be stuck with a biology major and I don't really want to be doing research for a year+ after graduating. So I was looking at business administration or an engineering major. I read at a couple of other places that business majors are known as vocational majors so medical schools tend to overlook them compared to a science or liberal arts major. Also, business majors tend to have it easy in terms of scoring a higher GPA so this shouldn't be a problem in engineering as they have it hard as well. So what do you guys suggest. I am sure I can score a 3.85+ in a business major and a 3.4+ in a engineering major. Or would you just prefer a biological sciences major.
Background info: I am entering as a college sophomore with a GPA of 1.75 after my freshman year. I was put on academic probation as well by my school. I transfered with the hope that things can go better. I know you need atleast a 3.0 GPA to get in the medical field so please advice what's best for me in this situation.
