this has to be just me, but for the life of me i can't find any section in first aid (2006 or 2007) that deals with stroke. i checked cardio, neuro, heme onc, even general pathology.. didn't see an entry for "stroke" or "cva" in the index.

stroke is the third leading cause of death in the u.s. i'm sure it's going to end up being somewhere in plain sight, but can someone please direct me to the proper page?

I have FA 2007 in PDF so I am able to use the search function. I couldn't find a "stroke" section. It was spread throughout places like treatments in pharm, in neuro path under circle of willis and berry aneurysms, and in behavioral for a leading cause of death.

I didn't see anything like a CVA in x location cause y and z deficits.

I think if you need to know one thing about stroke, that would be the branches of the carotid artery involved in each presentation of stroke. HY gross anatomy has a nice table that would be sufficient. You can also try blueprints Neurology. Good luck.
