What do you guys think the med schools would think if I got my degree in social work? Because I wanted to go into social work before medicine and I want it as my back up plan but I'm scared the med schools will think it was a stupid choice or something. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.

That'll be fine, as long as you do all of the required prerequisites for med school.

I agree with the above. My class has people from lots of different majors. Do what you're interestes you.
