Are you planning a month rotation elsewhere, or something else?
GeneralVeers said:Just tell the program you're going to rotate at that you don't plan to kill anyone, at least for the month you're rotating there. Maybe they'll wave the extra coverage.
JackBauERfan said:Definitely, away rotations cost so much more just doing them anyway, if I had to pay extra in insurance I would have just stuck to alabama.
GeneralVeers said:I did an away rotation in Jacksonville. Cost me $500 in UF tuition, plus $300 in gas (both ways) and $200 per week in rent.
Oh yeah, the rear-end on my car exploded a week after I got there, cost to fix: $2000.
All in all an expensive affair.
JackBauERfan said:My rotation at UC-Irvine = 200 dollar flight, 400 rent a car (not sure how much in gas), 40 dollar parking on wrong side of street meter ticket, 210 dollar handicap rampway ticket (there was no sign, and I was BARELY in the red curb, the people I was staying with said they've NEVER seen that ticket before). Plus the standard expense of 500 bucks at the apartment here in alabama! away rotations are EXPENSIVE! but I was happy I did them, they were good haha.
MilesWho said:Rotation in Philly:
Housing: 1000
Parking: 220
Food: Approx 500
Drink: Who knows....
Final cost: Largely negated by a lucky trip to Atlantic City...
And matched at my number 1 where I was doing an away that month!
