malpractice in anesthesia

are anesthesia malpractice rates high? An ob/gyn attending i spoke w/said it's up in the top 3 for highest malpractice rates. just wondering?

I was also under the impression that it was far less than OB, neurosurg., plastics and other surg. subspecialties.

15-75,000 per year-ish? Any thoughts?
