Malpractice Insurance

I'm about to start my first job after finishing postdoc and was wondering about the need for malpractice insurance. I'll be at a VA and I've been checking out info on The Trust programs offered through APA. Thoughts?

As a VA employee, you should be covered by their policy, so long as you're seeing their patients. I could only foresee needing additional malpractice if you intended to see patients outside of your VA duties, or if for some reason you want "extra" coverage.
