Malpractice rates in metro-Chicago

What is the typical range for malpractice in metro-Chicago? My classmate's family friend (supposedly) ends up paying $100K/year in McHenry county. That is quite insane, or just talking out of his anus? I expected something in the vicinity of 25-30K. What could they be doing? Or proportional to what they are pulling in=more cases?

I understand if no one knows if the previous post numbers are false or not. How about a site where I can find out the rates in Illinois?
