Distal tips can regenerate with conservative therapy. Unfortunately, we have not yet be able to recreate such effects with longer amputations of the extremeties. Lots of good work being done to that end. Pubmed it. Might seem boring, but keep the goals in mind and its pretty intriguing stuff... especially if you like histology.

That's really interesting! I knew that babies can regrow the tips of their fingers, but I didn't think that was possible for an adult.
