Managed care pharmacists:
1) What are your responsibilities in your current role? Did you move up in the company, if so what did your first managed care job involve?
2)How did you get into managed care?
3)What skills from retail or hospital pharmacy should someone focus on to become a managed care pharmacist. Ex: prior authorization, P&T committee, clinical skills, etc.
4)Please share your favorite managed care resources. Ex: I have been reading AMCP career resources page.

Thank you.

How good are you at change? If you like routine and know what to expect, managed care is not for you. If you can adapt quickly, then try it out. I mean, I could tell you what I'm working on today, but tomorrow it can change (and I'm not exaggerating).

I am not gonna answer these interview questions for you, but as someone who is in pbm, i am gonna advise u to do your research. Google what programs are offered, company philosophy etc and have a good understanding of how pharmacy/medical reimbursement works (pdm vs payor etc). Google is such a great resource to finding answers to all of your questions.
