I go to a school where pass/fail is a very common and encouraged option, and where mandatory pass fail courses are common (Gen chem 1, which most students place out of, is mandatory pass/fail). The pre-health advisor here has said that it shouldn't be a problem, and I recall seeing a post by LizzyM referencing how my school sends out a sheet with information on the different pre-requisite tracks, but I'm still a little worried about schools in general would consider these courses.

My situation:
I took "physics 1" and "physics 2" for physics majors, and both of those are considered to be much more conceptually difficult (in breadth and depth of content) than the other three possible sequences. However, both are pass fail, so I have no letter grades for physics in my record. I decided to take these courses because I took AP physics and wanted to learn more material than to relearn everything again, and because I considered majoring (but ultimately decided against) in a major that would require these two courses. Aside from this, my GPA and MCAT are both high (4.0/524), and I have completed the other science pre-requisites already. Another complicating issue is that the "physics 2" does not cover all of traditional E/M (the "physics 3" for physics majors does), but instead focuses on different physics material.

Will this be an issue when I apply to medical school?

Would love to hear input from @LizzyM @Goro, or any other adcoms as well! Thanks!
