Hey guys,

I have a question on this section.
I feel like I've worked with my hands a lot - I've played several instruments for a couple of years (never got private lessons though) and I know how to read music and play several pieces because i pick up learning instruments quickly but because I haven't had any private lessons, I'm not exceptionally amazing at all of them. (like I played at school bands and stuff and once in a while, play for fun)
I haven't really played after high school though but I can still pick them up if I want to - just won't be like those super experienced people
Is this ok to write for manual dexterity?

my worry is i haven't had a "consistent" and "long duration" type of manual dexteiry activity. i just pick up things quickly but don't really spend years and years continuing them

Definitely put that on your application! Schools just want to make sure your hands work. This area of your application is more of a conversation starter than anything else. During your interviews they will probably say something along the lines of, "So I see you have played instruments in the past..."
