so what if you are not economically disadvantaged but disadvantaged in some other way...ie family, societal, etc...what are some of the things you guys/gals applied with?

Post-bacc doesn't have to be an official program though. Nor are SMPs. Is it critical to be admitted into an official post-bacc program?
